Black Belt Profiles

Name: Alex

Current Grade: 1st Dan (March 2011)

Training Club: Streetly – Walmley – Four Oaks

TKD Achievements:
Over the years, my greatest achievement would be, gaining my 1st Dan black belt. I decided to do Tae Kwon Do 4 ½ years ago, and I am glad I did , because it has improved my fitness, flexibility and I have increased in confidence a lot. Another of my greatest achievements was when; I took part in the Bytomic tournaments and won 2 medals for sparing. I won a silver medal in 2007 and bronze medal in 2009. Also I was Best Junior at the Charity Event – Sutton TKD Sparathon (2007), Best Junior Boy June 2009 and Student of the year Dec 2009 Streetly club.

I am also pleased that I managed to get 7 ‘A’ passes from 9 gradings from white belt to black.

Future Goals:
In the future, I would like to gain my 2nd Dan black belt. Also, I would like to continue to support charity events. Another future goal of mine is trying to learn my 3 new black belt patterns. Also I am willing to help out lower grades at learning their new patterns and techniques.
